Tobacco companies will not likely be bankrupted by lawsuits, cuz jurors side with companies most of the times. Typical arguments are: "Well, why didn't you quit smoking? My uncle quit smoking,my mom quit smoking... why you can't quit? "

Hum, I'm very doubtful of bankruptcy for RN or MO. No, they will either spin tob off or go off shore. No doubt.

Actually, any "settlement" of tob issues could be dragged out for years and years. Would have to go to the Supreme Court. We will have a new political environment by then. The Republicans will provide a refreshing change in the current hostile climate.

Re MO: Bible may be replaced, if necessary.

Right on the taxes. Taxation hurts taxpayers, not the cos.
