glad to see you're still in Dell
After buying right before the June '97 split I panicked and got out when it went to 100 and then down to the 70's (ouch lost thousands of possible gains) immediately realized what a stupid dumb fool I'd been and began buying back at 81, 86, 88 etc etc and so forth. Bought my last ones at post split 87 and even they are still up. The rep at Fidelity said "At least you were smart enough to get back in. Some people when they see a stock go up that they have sold in a panic just resign themselves to be out of it." So maybe I've now made up for my stupidity on that one.
I too wish us all good luck and good fortune. Dell is now my biggest holding.
