Off topic: Ted, thanks for the offer of the beer at Epcot. Doubt we'll get there this time though since we're staying at the Contemporary which is walking distance from the Magic Kingdom. Last year we stayed at the Yacht Club (my favorite of all Disney hotels and walking distance from Epcot) and we spent many a day there and saw a weeks worth of fireworks from our room window. So, instead of a beer, I'd be willing to settle for one of those "duration of your stay" refillable Cokes (gg).

We did spend the day at the new Animal Kingdom, which will heretofore be known as Bug Kingdom. Apparently they imported a bunch of bloodthirsty stinging flies from Africa along with the wildebeasts. Either you drop the kid or you endure getting bitten. My son has so many bruises ;^).

Also, I have a bit of trivia to pass along: animals, like humans, don't enjoy being out in the open on hot sunny days. So, if you like playing "Where's Waldo", Disney's Animal Kingdom is for you. (gg) However, if you don't mind lousy service and mediocre food, the Rain Forest Cafe is a nice place to eat. You'd think a supposed kid-friendly restaurant would learn pretty quick that after a long day slogging through a park in the hot sun that kids would like water on the table and perhaps some bread to munch on (and that doesn't include the long wait most people have to endure to get in).

But, of course, the important thing is the kids did have fun even if the parents are wrecks. On second thought, if I could only find me one of the 32 oz Becks you were talking about... (gg)
