In announcing to wall street that they are buying back stock and then not following through they display to wall street that they are not trustworthy and do not follow through with what they say they are going to do. Hence, the low credibility that they have with wall street, the public, and the stockholders. I believe that this action is very irresponsible on the part of the management. It certainly is no favor to the stockholders.

Interesting thought.

Then again, if the share buy back would increase Teo's stake then perhaps CRUS management would want to do that to activate the poison pill defense and thus nullify Teo's threat.

I've never taken accounting so you probably no more about this than I do. Has anyone here ever seen one of these defenses activate and what effect did it have on the small shareholders?

Thanks,
John
