Re: "i know everybody hates kurlak."

Not everybody, I don't. (I know, I know this is "lamb to the slaughter" material.) Bottom line to me is his reasoning makes a heck of a lot more sense than the mindless, useless cheerleading that dominates these threads. Good luck to you on your shorts, Teri

I don't hate Kurlak but he is not always right. Check this out:
Message 4478576

(and over the next few months AMAT SHOULD go down - since no institutional investor in their right mind is going to hold a stock with deteriorating earnings momentum (not much one can do when no one wants to buy anything) - so you SHOULD do well - I just don't short AMAT)

Shane. (I also thought the stock SHOULD go down after earnings and it did not - so what do I know - maybe those buyers apres earnings realized that hmmm... )

Yea I was going to post a message to the guy who asked you how it felt to be short as AMAT was rising. Now you should ask him how it feels to be long AMAT as it is falling! <g>
