Olu,

OT, I think it is extremely important that everyone on this thread and elsewhere become educated about the Y2K problem. This may or may not be catastrophic, but we will not know for sure until Jan. 1, 2000 is upon us.

What do you think will happen when Y2K gets increasing press coverage and you start to see problems arise. For example, do you know that Quicken 96 and 97 will not function on Jan. 1, 2000. Intuit is facing legal action because of this.

People will become very scared and start pulling their money out of the market. It will happen and it will take the market down whether or not their is doom and gloom like everyone is predicting. I've seen numerous posts in which people already claim they plan to take their money out. Why would someone take a chance and lose everything?

Don't let people become complacent. I suggest people become informed of the consequences which we will begin to face and take the necessary precautions to protect their investments.

Regards,
Caisson
