Hello Pinky,

Thanks for the response. BTW, I just read the 10Q myself and now have a hunch your going long. Sure, R&D expenses increased a little from previous year quarter, as well as G&A expenses. Not to mention the two large right-offs (Restructuring = 23,194,000 and Technology in Progress = 30,571,000). Also saw the increased receivables year over year and the increase in inventory from the previous quarter ending December 31, 1997 (Of course, as a percentage of revenue, inventory actually decreased sequentially). None of the above-mentioned stats was new information to anyone who bothered to listen to the conference call. And yes, I also noticed the warning regarding inflation rates due to increased expansion in Israel (and, thus, potential for higher costs) and the lack of a hedge against currency fluctuations. And finally, the company mentioned it is not entirely year 2000 compliant. IMO, these are typical warnings found in most 10Qs. Again, the company mentioned the warrants (old news). So, if you could so kindly enlighten me as to what you found in the 10Q that is even remotely disturbing (or pleasing), please do. In other words, lets hear your further discussion, for better or for worse. From the above information, I can only speculate that your are going long on MRVC. Let's just hope you do a little better than your CPQ debacle.
