Violetta, OFF TOPIC !

Won't do WIM any good buying into busang.

I suspect we will never in our lifetime see any gold from busang. Unless ofcourse, Suharto is toppled and replaced by true democracy and Bre-X's rights restored.

Why do you think Bre-X paid all workers, and all dues to the government were paid, before leaving busang, even after the final Strathcona report indicating no gold after just 7 holes ? Why do you think Bre-X hired Price Waterhouse to ensure all records are retrieved from busang for safekeeping ? Just a few of the scores of questions that still keep me awake many nights. I still find myself going over the numerous results and come to the conclusion that only the results released from Dec/96 were salted. But what do I know. I am usually wrong. But I am a fool too. Just like you, I too believe there is gold in busang !

You just have to follow the Indonesian riots nowadays to get a picture of what was about to happen to Bre-X's share of busang. It went from 100% of the 85%, to 90%, to 80%, to 70%, to 35%, and soon to be nationalized. Bre-X would be left with zero any which way you look at it.

Sorry to have started this on WIM thread, but alas ! Those were the days!

Cheers, Lalit Jain
