Try the computer swap meets or amateur radio hamfests. Often delaers get rid of old stock at those sales quite cheaply.
If you are in Santa Ana (SW LA) try advanced computer products, Ask for Tom Freeman. They have loads of deals on Apple stuff and there is a strip there with several computer stores on it. In addition ACP has a "tent sale" every few months and also has a flea market twice a month.
I have not been there for 5 years, so things may have changed.
What geo area are you in?
Someone else might find something for you there.
