Westell sucks. They will never close a deal, and I will lose all my money.

Now go back to the Orckit thread.

Really you hang out here enough to know the issues.
If you don't agree with the thread ...fine.

I personally do not believe that any one company is going to own the ADSL market. Yes I think Orckit will be a big winner along with Westell, LUcy, CSCO, ALA, etc...etc..

Granted no contract is sure thing (not even GTE). I am willing to speculate that BEL will be in WSTL future. You really don't want me to waste fonts to argue the evidence. But if you have evidence to the contrary please show us.

Thanks

Neal

srvhap,

I really don't mean to flame, but you are not a newbie. Each of these ADSL stocks have a risk of their own. Of course the potential for profits is what make the risk worth while...I am trying to accummulate a basket of them all AWRE, ORCTF, WSTL, PAIR. I hope to add new companies as the surface on the ADSL horizon.

The problem is the market is drunk with stupidity. The internet stocks have gone bunkers. The truth is they will be yesterday's trash if the pipes aren't opened. Second, the market has predicted the cable modems as the delivery system with the greatest shot of paving the information super highway. man look at the ADSL sector ORCTF should be ripping the martket apart. The GTE deal is real deployment. The market has blown the value of that contract. With the exception of ALA, not one of the ADSL company represent the future value of ADSL. Timing the market is impossible but if you believe ADSL is real .Do like me. Bite your lip and wait knowing that the pay off will be there.

This is not a comparision just an observation. The last time I felt the market was stupid was 94 with the semiconductors stocks.

Good luck

thanks

Neal

srv--

here again, you have IP on the brain.

PAIR did its own r&d on a DMT product and it sure hasnt helped them. ORCTF still isnt in a meaningful deployment. most of WSTLs R&D has been offloaded to others or internalized. so, while the cost may have come down, i dont think they are slacking on their needs.

what might happen ST? well, we have the litespan DLC announcement, the interop labs, and in the next two-three months, BELs announcement.

in short, the bad has been priced into the stock. the good hasnt. on a R/R basis, WSTL looks pretty good right now. remember rule one of investing in tech stocks. buy when blood is in the streets, sell when the company just cant be beat.

good luck to all,
trey

srvhap:

After you recently mentioned WSTL's "stock overhang", I noticed that ORCTF has more insider selling going on, plus its own little "stock overhang" ...
