Sell-off? I think not.

Today, the stock traded 31MM shares, yet the money flow was negative $26MM. On a $90 stock, this is statistically insignicant to say the least.

In contrast, yesterday, the stock was down $3 and the money flow was negative $368MM.

The day before, the stock was up $3 7/8 and the money flow was negative $112MM.

When money flow is negative on a stock such as Dell that has a big price and trades a lot of shares, it means that more shares are traded on downticks than they are on upticks.

Being negative $26MM today on 31MM shares means that there was huge BUYING not SELLING on the stock.

When a stock goes from $75 to $98 in 2 weeks, it better have some profit taking in it. That's what occurred. It's over and Dell will run up after earnings.

Doesn't the options expiration mean anything to you bears? Intel pinned at $80. Dell pinned at $90. AOL pinned at $85. CPQ pinned at $30. LU pinned at $70. MSFT at $90. Coms at $30.

The list goes on and on. Makes you wonder how big a bonus Kurlak got today by throwing out one of his stupid ass "warnings".

Dell is richly priced and will be richly priced for many years to come. No one that has ever sold this stock hasn't looked back 2 months later and said they were happy they did.

I know. I've done that before. Won't do it again. If it goes down, I'll be buying more. And if it goes down more, I'll be buying more again.

The market loves this stock. And stocks the market loves do not go down for long.

re: I believe the charts show minor resistance in the 86 to 88 area. I see Dell held at the 89 to 90 range. Not a very pretty day for Dell and the other tech stocks. Can you imagine what will happen if Dell should miss the 42 cents...

Oh man, between the short term overpricing AND the suit being filed tomorrow against uSoft, I see low $80's, briefly, but none the less there. I ought to check to see what the windows-weenies on microsoft thread think.
