George,

I recall talk (on CCs with Steve O ?) of possibly expanding the network to include sites around the city of Kobe. This is my Ancor MAN recollection. Or I really could be mixing it up with something entirely unrelated.

I am interested to know if all of the Ancor product that Hucom is ordering is being used by that one industrial and consumer products giant. Hucom probably has FC testbeds with Ancor gear which Ancor isn't recognizing as revenue.

George,

I seem to recall a discussion on a CC, and in conversations with people at the company [no longer there] after the Kobe announcement that did talk about the possibility of connecting to other sites in and around Kobe. It was in context of the recent earthquake and the city's plans to install a fiber optic network in the area. There was some excitement regarding this win as they had beat out Fore Systems ATM solution on both price and performance. At least that was the buzz at the time.
