Greetings again from LV. Actually I'm back in Phoenix now. LV is a pit (at least the strip). Reminds me of hanging out at a Greyhound station--and smells like the bottom of an ash tray. They are actually building a new resort called "Paris", with a replica of the Eiffel Tower. The Gaul! (PI). Next, I think they should do the Vatican. The possibilities for thematic elements in the casino would be heavenly! Think of it--people could kneel at the slots!

Anyway, I never did see the peripatetic Anna again, but did have a chance to talk more with Ken. He's pissed with the company too, specifically with their botching of follow through on several announcements (same things we've been carping about). He says they are for real, making money, growing, etc.---but are behaving like a...
gasp...BB company! Thinks the investment will pan out just fine, but will probably take longer than he used to think---like a year or two. Makes sense when you think that the street likes to see numbers, and the numbers with Myriad won't make the history books until next year.

I also heard this rumor that the deal with Morton is off! Could just be rumor. Actually fine by me, since I never saw the point in the first place. And you've got to wonder about MD's health!
Like half the people at the Money Show. Boy were some of them old! I am really glad no one coded while I was there, because I HATE doing CPR. And what were they thinking attending that workshop on LEAPS????
