The amount of the alleged offer is not known, but observers say it was
between $32 and $35 per share, or $7.3 billion to $8 billion. Bay shares are
currently trading at $26.38.

if house turned down an offer this good of 32-35/share, i am bummed. but if bay really has a good new product cycle, maybe bay will climb as asnd did when they turned down the lu offer. i would have rather had the sure thing and taken the offer.
