Gliatech Inc. Files To Offer 2 Million Common Shares

Dow Jones Newswires -- May 15, 1998

WASHINGTON -- Gliatech Inc. (GLIA) filed to offer 2
million common shares.

In a filing Friday with the Securities and Exchange
Commission, the company said proceeds from the
offering will be used for the U.S development of
ADCON-P and ADCON-T/N, introduction of
ADCON-L into the U.S. Market, research and
development, working capital and general purposes.

Cowen & Co., Furman Selz and Vector Securities
International Inc. will underwrite the offering, which has
an overallotment option of up to an additional 300,000
shares.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the company develops and
markets medicinal products designed to inhibit surgical
scarring and adhesion.

(Any thoughts regarding timing of offering? Personally would have
thought they would have waited until AFTER FDA approval. Peter.)
