Gerald, maybe creeping incrementalism, however expensive preserves the integration model, which at this point is the core competency and the motor of abnormal profits, and as such is to be defended to the last man. It could turn into a tobacco like scenario.Protracted and exhausting and worth it if they can coninue business as usual. I mean in the late 20 th century, getting 30 % margins on 10 billion ain't doable without 'abnormal' circumstances. Right James? Just my humble opinion.
