John....I really have nothing against any posters here...
it's good to get different perspectives, but an exclude option would allow anyone to tune out particular posters when a personal exchange marathon is underway and then "tune "them back in later. Therefore info would not be lost..it would be available later when one is in a mood to read it.

The LGND thread provides a lot of acceptance for people to ventilate, which is good (I think) but an optional temporary exclude option (for each individual screen; like M Fool chat rooms) might encourage posters to take private messages to the private message board.

Encouraging everyone to act in a socially responsible manner is the only thing you really can do. Once you start excluding people based on what they may say, you are heading down the slippery slope fast. That is *not* the way to solve problems.

If everyone would be a bit more considerate, we wouldn't have all these problems.
