You don't work in the financial world do you. You misused the term churning and 12 MM's getting together to agree on anything, let alone something illegal, is absurd. They are competitors. You probably think Ford, GM, and Chrysler get together to figure out ways to screw you on buying a car.

Pugs-Some MM have a retail base and some do not therefore the bid/ask prices will reflect that meaning carrying inventory or the lack thereof,I have noticed on Firamada the MM without a retail base play it "closer" to the vest,by having lower bid prices for example.It does not always reflect shorting just a trading strategy.MiriamsSon
