Now! Now!, Paul K. you are NOT telling us the truth again.

I have listened to almost every Intel analysts conference call for the past 8 to 10 years and I have never heard Intel say anything like your posted quote. Believe me, if they had I would have remembered it. What I did hear about two years ago, and repeated several time thereafter, is that GPM's would trend down to 50 % + or - a couple of points. The statement, I believe, if I remember correctly, was made in the context that as Intel entered new business opportunities they could not hope to maintain the same high margins that they have enjoyed in the past.
To suggest anything beyond this, or to exaggerate negatives from this very long term guidance, is just plain irresponsible. Furthermore, I resent your arrogance in thinking that you are up to date on what Intel is doing. Please reference us to which conference call you heard this statement made.
