I plotted the number of scripts reported for the first four weeks of Viagra (36,263; 113,134; 207,868; 269,842). It certainly does not look like it will plateau near 300,000. By extrapolating by eye, it looks like it will reach somewhere between 400,000 and 500,000 in about two months. But it should increase gradually after that (and I am only talking about U.S. sales). My guess is that there will be about 300,000 reported on Monday.

Richard

Anthony. It's about time there is some press that is truthful about the effects of Viagra on normal males <<"I and my colleagues have tried out this drug, and the pill decisively improves sexual performance," Porst said. "Erection is harder, quicker and longer lasting. Almost every sexually active man will want to try this drug.">> I have used it many times, have never had ED,and when I read about it doesn't increase libido or help the performance of normal males it makes me laugh. The truth can only be stifled so long.I know a lot of this is info.has been put out by PFE,they have got to be careful and insist it's only for males with impotence, and I can't fault them. We will be seeing more press like this as more non ED males and females start taking it just to have better sex.The financial implications are mind boggling. Richard Re; getting this approved in other countries, I have no idea about the process or how they go about it but I hope in some countries it is approved over the counter. Jim

POTENTIAL GERMAN VIAGRA SALES
7 BILLIONS.
The German Urologist report mentioned a few posts earlier, also estimated that 6 to 8 million Germans
might be candidates for Viagra. It is expected that Viagra will be available in Germany from September next.
On the basis of 6/8 pills pro month per
indiviual it would mean that sales of Viagra could spurt to the equivalent of some $7 billions per year.

(This amount constitutes 40% of the
cost of ALL prescriptions now paid back by the Krankenkassen,=the German Sickfund Insurance= to show the magnitude of the new pill).

Urologist Stief from Hannover
pointed out in "Focus" that he
is also worried about the potential
abuse of the drug.Like those "erectionmaniacs that would take Viagra twice a day".
