Could be total R&D or one years worth of R&D. Normally they will report TOTAL R&D obligated in a program. Sapper

This is what I do for a living Gator. What catches my eye is "lighter and more protection." We have the US soldier deploying today with over 135 pounds. If we can find ways to reduce the load by better material, we plant "seed" money. Give a company a little R&D and let them show us what they can do for us. If the bang is worth the buck, we start a program. IF NANX is a sole source for this material, and IF it does what they say, things could get interesting. However, Goverment contracts are not as secure as we might think. I had a program last week that lost 150 Million. Cut and dried. Sapper
