It's about time. DOJ shouldn't have been involved in talks in the first place. If they believe ms broke the law in anyway, they should proceed without talks. I wouldn't negotiate with a criminal who killed someone, I apply the law on him/her.

It is amazing to me that MSFT would not come to an agreement with the DOJ...Why would a company like MSFT even want to go to trial? How bad could an agreement be, it seems like a definable liability is better than the unknown...the company is busted...the pieces may be worth more than the whole?...
