Dr. Epstein, what you turned up is very interesting. I did a little research of my own. For those of you who didn't go to the URL that was posted in Dr. Epstein's last post, several people had raised the question on whether Stock Detective was in cahoots with organized shorters. PNLK is now the latest on the SD's "Stinky Stock" (where have we heard that before?) list. I looked back at the other "stinky stocks" of the past 12 months. Some of them had experienced a recent run up in their stock's price prior to being put on the list, making them a ripe target for shorters. The good news for us is that being put on the list did not seem to have an appreciable effect on the stocks listed. Some have gone up, some have gone down. On only one could I see any correlation with the timing of when they were put on the list. And even that does not prove any cause/effect relationship.

I went to the trouble of doing this for my own benefit, but if there are any of you who were trouble by the Stock Detective's article, I would tell you not to worry about it. It seems to be a non-factor.
