At OC-48 it is a lot easier and it is better to have 16 to 40 X OC-48 than one OC-192. LVLT starts with a clean slate. I do believe Seattle , is their first, outside of Denver. When you start anew, you have plenty of space, can engineer -48VDC power grids cleanly, and all the other stuff that goes with it. Anybody can do ip-- when you engineer your network infrastructure to do say, VPN's, encryption, service guarantees and other fancies, these things become differentiators. << Avici has nothing as yet and what they may have is lessor than what I see already.
