Dear Jane :

You may not want or even need great material blessings; I really feel the same way; but by the same token I want to give God glory in all areas of my life including my finances; regardless of my net worth or check book balance.

But one observation I have made is that most marriages break up over adultery or financial problems; and one will lead into the other if that makes sense. Try to support a girlfriend or boyfriend--financial difficulties come, have financial problems--often times the tension will lead to infidelity and then more financial difficulties..I know it doesn't make a lot of sense; but since when is it supposed to.

I still feel this is a great thread; what I cannot get over is how often I too am ministered to by it. It is a sancturary to me and I just cannot believe how great all of our friends have been here, I sure don't want to get teary eyed on you; but you have certainly picked up some precious jewels in your crown here. I know exactly how embarassed you would be for me to start giving you all these accolades; so I won't. But can I give the glory to God for not giving up on us.

I may still not be a 'masterpiece' like you, dear Jane. But if you saw the ditch the Lord found me in you would understand why the process has taken a little longer on this side of the equation.

In Christ.gregor
