MG, Oh yeah, Windows was definitely stolen from the Mac. Nobody cared right away because it was so obviously inferior and the Mac was pretty much the standard so it just looked like another dumb product copycat idea from a fairly small company. At the time I remember being horrified that everyone using PCs was being told that a half-assed version of the Mac was the right way to use a PC. I didn't want a Mac, half assed or whole assed! Then my Word Perfect got replaced as an office standard by Word and my great Lotus software got replaced by inferior Excel. Who's to blame? Apple, WordPerfect, and Lotus. Mediocre technology coupled with great marketing and operations management always beats great technology coupled with mediocre marketing and operations management. Good products won't sell until this is realized by the company. Fact 'o life. More on this later (if the Amigos like my stock pick for next week...) Phil
