If AOL gaps down below 83 1/2 in the near future I think we will have what they call an island reversal which signals a major trend reversal. Any TA types have any comments on that?

If you guys want a thought-provoking article to ponder check out this study I came upon last year.

Read especially carefully the section on the 4-year market cycle. The author did a purely statistical study of the market since 1940 and found a highly correlated 4 year cycle.

If you folks want to see something really sobering look at this chart and keep in mind we are in the middle of Year 2 since the last presidential inauguration.

Will the statistics hold up? I'm betting that they do. Any intelligent thoughts on these findings? (I can't seem to get those from the Yahoo thread!)

in the near future.

Is there any typo here? If this is really what you mean, I have to say you don't seem know the basic concept of internet.
