my gut feel is DELL has already run up in anticipation of earnings, and a 2-1 split will not come until at least Aug, if it comes - it is a very long time between now and Aug.

Re: DELL, I would write covered puts not buy. The put premiums are expensive as everyone is looking to hedge their paper profits in DELL. The strategy would not limit your upside and have a built in stop loss so to speak.
