Next week Monday, the convertible preferred becomes convertible to common shares which of course will likely be immediately sold. Now I wonder if the shorts are shorting in anticipation of the conversion? It is timely that the stock price dips below 8 on the last day before shareholders may be converting and selling common. Normally I would not make a statement like this, but this even is very timely indeed. When it comes to the shorts, all many look for is an excuse to short, and short they will. The anticipated selling of shares in this situation is one of the better reasons for them to have, because usually the reasons the shorter comes up with completely ignores the time element and this is where most of them get burned.
