Paul:OTOT Re yr2k: I agree the more the subject is discussed, the more likely companies will be inclined to fix the problem. Someone must "get to" the higher management (and government)so that they take it serious and promote the funds and programs to do the job. We have a multilayer industry set-up, big expensive hotels low cost chains like Motel Six, and an uncountable number of un-identified motels most using computers or reservation services. Big guys will fix things, little guys??? Doubtful I am astounded at how many people are living day-to-day no matter what their income is !!!. New cars to pay for, kids education, vacations, trips, mortgages, medical and vet bills. So I have very little hope that smaller companies/industries will spend the needed $ to cure the problems until it hits them in the pocketbook. Or the ATM's quit working ( a real attention getter) There is going to be quite a shake-up in industry, if Home Depot machines can't handle it, we all start buying at Lowes. If Lucky market isn't prepared, we shop groceries at Kroger. Might as well forget about the IRS, they have spent Billions on computer systems and haven't got anything working well yet. Its going to be a most exiting time, I would not want to miss any part of it(Hehehehe) I recognize and appreciate your great concern for our investments and thank you for that. But I think most of us got here by multiple devious means other than pure investment income, and will survive to continue this incredible search for the perfect stock. Regards Sig
