don't know if I agree with you..my realist side says you are right..
my idealist side said that high tech could have been the biggest
boon to this century..if not for the fierce competitive markets..
instead of increased hours..it could have easily produced decreased
hours...and a better quality of life for all..
even now look at the strides in biotech..awesome potential..

one of the news releases said that Pakistan was going ahead with nuclear testing...as if the Asian meltdown wasn't enough...
does this mean that the US will have to start pumping up its defense
budget again?
also curious if these tests will have an affect on price of uranium
also quite confused..if more money flows into the US bond market as
a safe haven and inflation from wages starts to rise here..what happens to bonds down the road..down and then a spike up..the utility
index looked strong this week..really suggesting bond yields will be
going lower...(wish I were smarter..)
