Randy,

I too felt the power of the market manipulators, although I did get 1/2 out of my April 20s. Of course, I could have unloaded when the stock was 24 on Monday before the close. Almost the same thing happened this month with Brightpoint. I had May 17 and 1/2s, and the stock opened @20 on Monday and proceeded downward to 17 on Wednesday, but it closed at 17 5/8. I did come back a little on Thursday and Friday, so I was able to get out at 1. Had I got out on Monday I would have recovered my investment ($2,041) and made a small profit. I think what I am telling myself by this post is there are some lessons to be learned from playing options, and that is when one can recover his/her option contract investment or possibly even turn a profit, he or she should get out before option week begins.
