Jeff,

Thanks for once again bringing your much-appreciated and expert views to these pages.

The one item that I would question at this time is the dollar amount you cite over the next few years:

>>But it will be because of Internet Telephony Applications that the industry will grow to US$1.6 Trillion over the next few years.<<

Please, most definitely, explain this one. 1.6 Trillion dollars, does this represent the replacement value or the actual billings for voice and mm apps, or is much of this the result from latent, pent-up demand to be derived from untapped and still uncultivated capabilities? And how will voice allocation be determined, in a m-m environment if we wanted to extrapolate this figure for comparison purposes?

My point is that a new life form is taking shape here, as your explanations indicate, with its own set of DNA chains. Accordingly, it will be increasingly difficult if not impossible to continue making dollar related comparisons to historical benchmarks. Please provide us with a breakdown on this figure, if you would be so kind.

BTW, your visits here are all too infrequent. Don't be a stranger, hear? I/we greatly appreciate your input. Come back... and,

Best Regards, Frank Coluccio
