<Who has the fastest notebooks? Apple - 400MHz notebook>

Maxwell, here's what the article said:

"Apple demonstrated a prototype notebook with a 400-MHz PowerPC "

A prototype doth not a product make. - Shakespeare

<AMD- K6-300MHz notebook from PC Club>

Looks like you're right about this one, however I don't think AMD claims to have a 300mhz K-6 for a notebook. Anyone could put one together. Someone could make a 400mhz PII notebook but I sure wouldn't buy it. The K6 at 300mhz uses a whole lot of power 18-19 watts despite AMD's claim of only 15+ watts, but nothing to stop some company from sticking one in a notebook if someone else is willing to buy it.

Regarding the Celeron benchmarks, yes I am up to date on that one thank you.
