My thirty days are up, I now am back long in VVUS and frankly, I really am short PFE at 108. As a stock play, I think PFE will pull back its usual 20% on profit taking from the Viagra high, my cover target is 97 but may cover half at 103, we'll see. As for VVUS, this dog is so whupped, I can't see it going down much more. I suppose a FDA rejection of the new facility would do it, but not much else. When Mama expects Tarzan from Viagra, and she just gets "Boy" she'll be sending Tarzan back to the Doc for the Real Deal. Not that Viagra is not a great drug, it's just not going to do much more for PFE stock in the next few weeks. New Rx's for Muse have fallen sharply, that's expected, no one would start with Muse without trying Viagra first. But this stock is still a momentum stock and it will be driven by news, not script data (although I think that will start to recover). The next news, I think, is inevitable. It will be the nega-stories of the tabloid press on Viagra. All drugs have side effects and when a drug is popular news, the side effects will be also. But the tabloids will be careful to stick to the facts, unlike the celebrities they stalk, PFE has deep pockets to hurt them in court. When those stories start coming, you will see VVUS rise, I think with even more effect than the FDA approval of the new plant. I think it will be soon. And that is just a guess. FWIW Zebra
