Hmmm I am not sure about the questions you ask since I am not a chemist and just did get out fo the ninth grade. However I have been told it was tested by some major names in their testing facilities before the product came public.

I still keep having these nagging concerns over just what is it that's in DF-144 that gives it such a high octane blending number...and whatever it is, is it water soluble?

Answer: It is not water soluble but will segregate in the present of water. It apparently it itself is a reformed material substance..

(like MTBE), is it toxic?

Answer: It has no more toxic properties than gasoline. No special ingredients.

(like tetraethyllead), is it carcinagenic?

Answer: No not to my knowledge it was tested by Conoco at their main lab facility in Oklahoma. Glencore at a commerical facilities and they ordered material right after the test. However all this happen prior to Arcon becoming public.

(like benzene), is it mutagenic?

Answer: No not to my knowledge

have all the environmental bases been covered by Arcon with as much thoroughness as is needed?

Answer: From my knowledge and the test results in my procession Yes they have and it has been register with the EPA though I do not have the hard copy registration. .

Hey Gordon maybe you can get Exxon to test it for all this. I would love to see if it passes the stringent testing Exxon has in Baton ROuge.
