I have read numerous articles that credit this DOJ publicity with increasing the demand for win98 dramatically. I know I wasn't planning to go out and buy win98 myself, but now I REALLY want it. In any case I will confirm charles' post that msft will ship win98 tomorrow to OEMs.

Im not sure theres a direct correlation between win98 and how well QDEK fares, however. The only product it affects is Disk Clone, and QDEK doesn't have any win98 releases for anything else (that I know of).

I am a little confused. I heard on the news again today that Microsoft is starting to ship as of today but I also hear that it will be in the stores June 25th.Why the gap?The only thing I can figure out is that it will be entirely in all the stores by 6/25/98 or it will be in all the stores soon but not ready for Sale. Anyone know the reason for the gap?
