How was I off base? Did you read my post? I stated that DELL has indeed enjoyed very real and rapid growth, did I not? I simply said that some of that growth has been somewhat overstated because of these buybacks. Like it or not when analysts and this board cite growth, they look at EPS and not the bottom line.

I find this lack of reading a common error on this thread. Is everyone so interested in destroying any contrary argument to DELL that they blindly read, not listening and understanding what the author is writing, but rather spending the whole time trying to figure out how to discredit the author and make his argument appear invalid, and of course in the process miss the entire point of the post in the first place. A kind of "shoot first and figure out what in the world he was saying later" type of attitude seems to prevail on this thread. I usually don't even respond if a post has mistated or twisted what I've said, but I like you so I'll make an exception in this case.
