Sam, can we get you own thoughts on Scripture? Or do you believe verbatim what you read from gnostic teachers. There is some truth in what you and these writers say, and this is why it is problematic. Yes many of the accounts in the Bible, like the flood, can be found in other ancient writings. So what makes the Bible the authority for so many, and not one of these other writings Sam? It is the message throughout the 66 books of the Bible Sam, that point to one glorious event in history, the arrival of the Christ and His death. God's death on a Roman cross became the sacrifice for all mankind, that whosoever believes on Him would not perish (with the deceiver), but have eternal life (with God).

Tom

Sam,
From what did you copy that post (the promised lesson from Genesis)? You certainly didn't write it. Not enough sarcasm! The problem with the word wrap means you pasted it from somewhere else.
