from Chris4hum over at Yahoo (w.r.t. the same Reuters article on Singapore risk from Indonesia):

I saw this article and have to say it was pretty useless unless someone intends for people to panic. It quoted people saying in essence that Singapore was going to crash because people didn't know the extent Indonesia was going effect Singapore. But there was not one quote or substantial argument as to why that would happen, or why these industries would be at risk. I guess one could extrapolate that some banks may see failed bank loans.I thought it was extremely superficial with no real content except some people's opinions. Plain fearmongering. This is not to say that there is no risk, but please if news organizations put an article out like that it should be researched in more depth.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.
