Well, no one ever accused the government as being efficient or effective.

That being said, I just can't see how they will allow distribution of Windows 98. They must be planning an injunction at the box maker level. If I was Dell or Gateway, I wouldn't be placing a lot of orders just yet. Windows 95 is quite good, and should be just fine for the moment.

One interesting parrellel between the anti trust action of MSFT and that of Standard Oil. Both began at the state level and worked up to federal.

Shane, I just read the the demands made on MSFT by DOJ!!! They require
MSFT to ship window 98 with Netscape Browser!!??????
This stupid and sensless! These clowns are forcing MSFT to help Netscape sell theri products so it can be a profitable comapny! Mr.
Andeerson (if I got the name right!!) is a lazy bum that lost money
for the Netsacpe byu staying home and eating Strudel!! Now, the DOJ
wants to help him out recover the 50 million dollars he lost!!
