the TXN deal does include VDSL technology, but ORCTF is really the leader in the area. thats one of the reasons i own the stock.

as for the chips thing, it gives us a second source of DMT chips that at least one carrier wants<G>.plus, we can help TXN fine tune the chips they are making for WSTL now.

as a side note though, if memory serves ORCTF has a fab setup to make the chips. IMHO, they should shut it down and contract with a taiwanese company for production. running a semi fab in this climate is just a bad idea.
