I don't know for sure, but from my point of view the blanks must be measured with repeatable results on some very accurate equipment calibrated to a national standard. We are talking about mass spectrometry equipment used to measure all kinds of elements and compounds. This in itself is a huge industry and getting blanks with precisely known values is probably not too difficult. ?? IMO = In My Opinion ROFLMAO = Rolling On Floor Laughing My A&& Off EOM = ???
