Jim, going back over the past 3-4 years, we have sell-offs which range from about 6 - 15%. One of the indicators I use in addition to the binary waves and my own extended version of the binary wave is the sum of the adaptive moving average (from one of the recent mags) across 8 indices and indicators. It normally varies from minus 8 to plus 8... it ALSO being a binary waveform. Well when the value gets extreme on the downside, we normally have sell-offs in excess of 10% and when it is -8, the sell-off is usually contained within a 2 month span and is under 10%.

In this current sell-off, the indicator has ONLY gone to -8. And seeing that we have been in the sell-off pattern for a month, I would GUESS we have another 2-3 weeks at the most to go.

BWDIK?
