There's another aspect to wearable computers a la Xybernaut that I don't believe anyone has mentioned yet.

Digital Cameras!

Journalists use digital cameras and software such as PhotoShop on a PC for touch-up and the modem to transmit.

A real wearable computer with a suitable display should be popular amongst photographers who are now constrained to lugging around fragile laptops. Add in workable voice recognition software plus wireless data communications and we're looking at a hot item

Conceivably, a small wearable computer could become a standard adjunct to digital cameras for the general public also.
