Slightly <OT> but does anyone have an opinion on Xybernaut-xybr & Irvine Sensors-irsn two companies developing wearable computers and possible applications for Zip % Clik! Monday should prove interesting in that xybr has a manufacturing deal with Sony Digital and rumors abound that irsn is close to a deal with Boeing.

there is some confusion with the word "bundled" here, but it can also mean internal just like the fujitsu notebook zip drive deal.

ROY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 1998--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM - news)
and Fujitsu PC Corporation (FPC), the seventh largest notebook manufacturer in the US market,
today announced that modular notebook Zip drives will be bundled as a standard feature into the
new retail line of the popular LifeBook notebook computers.

HP NOTEBOOKS WILL COME WITH STANDARD ZIPS

this should be good news because this notebook pcs will have zip internals as standard.

"According to HP, future modules will include a DVD drive and an Iomega Zip
drive. HP figures the OmniBook 4100's maximum weight at 6.6 pounds (with
the 14.1-inch display and CD-ROM drive). Standard input devices include a
touchpad and pointing stick. Depending on the configuration, the OmniBook
4100 is priced from $4,599 to $3,249."

>>Tell you what---I'll bet you dinner with your sweetie that this thing comes standard with an internal Clik<<

The latest CPQ/IOM Yahoo news release I believe confirms the fact that the Vapor! drive in the $6000 projector bundle will be the EXTERNAL connected to the PC slot. For $6000, I would want more than 40MB at a time. What are they thinking? If you have room for a PC-CE and a projector, then you will have room for a decent sized hard drive (or removable) as well.

BTW, Since I did not agree to your wager beforehand, I will not hold you accountable for it.
