One thing is certain, you are quick.
You must be a genius to see through the Y2K scam. Quite a lot of people, including heads of governments, officers of major corporations, experts in computing and communications, are convinced that the Y2K problem is real.
Hey, what do they know, here comes a VSE short seller who says that the whole Y2K issue is a hoax and the companies that provide Y2K related services and products are scam. As a proof he offers 'a small fortune' he made by shorting them.

I don't know what is going to happen in 2000. I don't know if any of US, Russian, French, British or Chinese missiles get airborne, or how many, if any, utilities stop providing their products and services, creating shortages of water, electricity or gas. One can continue the list of questions that cannot be answered with 100% certainty.

Wait a moment, this successful shortseller says we don't need to worry. Everything will be fine. Fixing code, upgrading hardware and replacing imbedded chips are a result of some kind of global conspiracy. A cynical way to make money.
Short the Y2K companies and you will make some money, too.

I have not read anything so stupid and cynical as your post on the thread 'Year 2000: 2000 Date-Change Problem: Scam, Hype, Hoax, Fraud' for really long time. I think you might be suffering from a ostrich syndrome. Let's call it a cash-ostrich behaviour. It can be described as hiding your head in a lot of paper money and believing that you are safe.

However, I want to remind you that your rear end will be still exposed.

PS. I have never thought that VSE short sellers are so infantile and silly as this thread's trio: Mr. F, Mr. L. and Bill W.

Don't mind AH (THE SPECULATOR AS HE CALLS HIMSELF), he is the most irritable of the chump bunch. He attacks anybody that disagrees with him.
