I'm liking this the more I think about it. LU is really in a bind - they HAVE to acquire a data networking company, but the only ones out there who can give them the instant credibility they need want big bucks, and then they will still have to struggle to make the marriage work. Meanwhile, CSCO can continue to make its deals with telcos until one of the telco equipt companies decides they're too pretty to leave at the altar, and offers a sweet deal.
