News that as/es is seven or eight months from human testing played strongly on network and local TV news Sunday, as well as NPR Sunday and this morning. This sure is NCI fast-tracking.

If preliminary, anecdotal evidence is positive, it will be hard to keep a cap on the enthusiasm. It will be impossible to keep a lid on terminal cancer patients dancing in the streets. Sure, it won't be good, methodical science -- but it will sure be good news.
