Taurus, minimum wage can't buy you diddly these days and does nothing to drive consumer spending. Most of the wage spikes are in the high tech industry and driving inflation in tech centers, while the average Joe sixpack is just getting by.

Any inflationery forces are surreal, because of they are fueled by excessive credit and this derivatives fiatsco.

When the derivatives and credit collapse, then deflation. It started in SEA and will spread like the Asian Flu (which I have today YUK -g-)

That's why the real stuff will come in handy someday.
